German Year in India: Music Concert – Finale
”;
After 16 exciting months, which carried to Hyderabad some of the best German artists from different fields, the German Year in India is coming to an end. For over more than a year, seven major cities in India could experience what Germany stands for and represents, concluded a excess of its visual and audio state of the art cultural expressions. They will complete the circle and also end this Festival in the name of dance and music, this time enriched by the spoken word of slam poetry, yet again challenging the artists to elaborate their artistic inspirations over the internet and phone technology being a feature that both countries stand for. Some of the participating artists are Theresa Hahl (Slam Poet), Mangala Bhatt (Kathak Dancer) and Daniel Gomez (Pianist).The Music Concert is at Gandipet Road, Hyderabad, This event will start on 20th January at 7:00 p.m. According to the real sense music is having rhythm, melody, or harmony. But it’s really underestimated, more so than anyone actually realizes! Music is learning, a therapy, and teaching tool. Music adjusts our moods, and used throughout our lives. To lead a healthy life, we need to incorporate music. Music is therapy because of its positive changes in human behaviour. The therapy consists of singing, playing instruments, moving to music, and listening to music. This builds your communication skills, motor skills and emotional development.The wait is finally over! After almost 6 years of waiting Ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali Khan will take your breathe away as he performs live at N Convention. Don’t miss this master in action!This festive will be inaugurated with dance and music, bonding Kuchipudi on the one side and Contemporary Dance and music on the other side in a dialogue of communal interest and understanding. Performers from the two countries will bind together and work closely to bring a concept alive. Through a charming association, the young smash poet Theresa Hahl, musician Daniel Gomez and Kathak dancer and choreographer Mangala Bhatt will bring to us their truly trans-cultural and trans-national expression of love for the arts. Theresa Hahl is a dynamic part of the German spoken-word scene since 2009. She conducts workshops and deals with poetry and its portrayas in an innovative way. She won the Weidener Literaturpreis 2010. Mangala Bhatt is a Kathak dancer, choreographer and an artistic director, specialised in Indian Folk and Tribal Arts. She is allied with Pt. Birju Maharaj ji Kala Ashram Kathak Kendra, New Delhi and is presently residing in Hyderabad. Although Daniel Gomez is Spanish by birth, he has been connected with Germany for a long time, be it through the language of the country or the music of German composers. He has executed at Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad on the event of the opening of its new premises.With this final celebration, uniting three of the cultural expressions highlighted throughout the Festival of Infinite Opportunities -namely literature, music and dance-, we wish to once more get Hyderabadis together under the guidance of arts to explore the numerous opportunities that the Indo-German connectivity nurtures and deals.Source: Free Articles from ArticlesFactory.com
